Orientational and Welcome Day

To celebrate the beginning of the semester and welcome new students at the University of Pannonia, an orientational and welcome event took place in the cozy atmosphere of Pannon Community Hub. The event was supported by Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship programme. The aim of the event was to introduce the University of Pannonia to newcoming students and highlight important aspects of their studies and everyday life: the structure of the semester, student services and support, the benefits and purpose of the mentor programme, important contacts and departments. The programme also included a presentation of the Centre for Student Services and Career (https://karrierkozpont.uni-pannon.hu/en/) about the opportunities provided for students, such as career guidance, trainings, workshops and consultation. After the event, students could participate in a tour around the campus and enjoy a walk in the university area. Not only newcoming, but also current students were invited for the event: they were able to share their experiences and stories about international studies at the University of Pannonia. The programme included a teambuilding session, where the participants could get to know each other better. The Orientational and Welcome Day allowed new students to integrate into the new international environment and enjoy the afternoon in a friendly and inclusive atmosphere. We are looking forward to meeting our enthusiastic students at other international events!3… 2… 1… Say "Veszprém"!
