International Evening – Islands of Cultures
Dear University Citizens, We are pleased to invite you to the International Evening – Islands of Cultures event at the Veszprém campus of the University of Pannonia, taking place on 8 May 2025, from 17:30 to 19:00, in Building E.
The goal of the event is to celebrate the international diversity of our university and to provide a space where every member of our community can experience the gastronomy, traditions, and musical worlds of different cultures — all in one evening.
Highlights of the programme include:

Tasting more than 20 authentic dishes and beverages from around the globe — from Latin America through Asia and Africa to Europe.

Cultural showcases — traditional clothing, customs, and performances.

A Bachata dance class — discover this passionate Latin dance style.

An international music selection that brings the vibe of every continent to life.
The evening will present cultures from, among others, Latin America, Western and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Central and South Asia, Southeast and East Asia, as well as Central and Southern Africa.
